Three steps
- Find your zone code. Every parking sign in Ohrid shows a zone code such as A1 or B12. Scan the QR code on the sign and the zone is selected for you, or open ohrid.pnp.mk and pick it from the list.
- Enter your license plate. Type it exactly as printed on the vehicle. Foreign plates are accepted.
- Choose how long, and pay. The price for that zone is shown before you confirm.
Ways to pay
Bank card
Visa and Mastercard, including cards issued outside North Macedonia. Payment is processed over a secure banking gateway. This is the method we recommend for visitors.
SMS to 144644
Send an SMS to 144644 and the parking is charged to your mobile bill or prepaid credit. Billed by the Macedonian operators A1 and Telekom, so it works from Macedonian numbers.
Roaming on a foreign SIM? Use the card option above.
Cash
Cash is collected in the field and at the operator's desk, with a fiscal receipt.
Daily ticket
A daily ticket covers 24 hours and is valid in Zone A and Zone B. It is often the cheaper choice if you are staying in Ohrid for the day. A daily ticket cannot be extended - it simply runs for its full 24 hours.
Check or pay a parking fine
Go to ohrid.pnp.mk/lookup and enter the license plate. Any active fine for that vehicle is listed, and you can pay it online by card straight away. Nothing else is needed - no reference number, no account.
Residents: parking permits
Residents of Ohrid can apply online for a monthly or yearly parking permit at ohrid.pnp.mk/permits/apply. Enter the vehicle details and your home address, submit, and pay online once the application is approved. You can follow the status at ohrid.pnp.mk/permits.
